Why not start at 100% ETH staked instead of 50% and let the transition take 5-10 years?
This will give certainty of issuance for all current stakers and DeFi, as well as give us enough time for the full transition towards stateless ZK validators, which will make solo staking infinitely cheaper and easier.
And most of all a natural staking equilibrium has time to manifest without disrupting ongoing staking & DeFi operations.
