What is a deposit?

A deposit refers to transferring digital assets from another exchange to the OKX platform, similar to a bank transfer. For example, A gives B a bank card number, and B goes to the bank with this card number to deposit money into A's designated bank account. This process is analogous to making a deposit.

When depositing, all digital assets require a deposit address; for some digital assets, in addition to the deposit address, a tag (also known as Tag/Memo) must be provided.

When depositing, be sure to keep the asset name and the network used for deposit and withdrawal consistent. Currently, the platform does not support digital assets such as USDT on BSC.

Note:

  1. The withdrawal and transfer functions on this platform can be accessed by tapping [Assets] --- [Withdraw] --- [Withdraw Crypto]. The specific location of these functions on third-party platforms (other exchanges or wallets) may vary. Please carefully review the menu options on the third-party platform to find the corresponding function entry. Always double-check before performing any operation to ensure the security of your assets. You can refer to: How do I make a withdrawal? (App)

  2. Some coins require a tag, such as XRP. The required tag will be indicated above the deposit address, usually as a string of numbers. When depositing these coins, you must enter both the deposit address and the tag, otherwise the assets will be lost.
