Start your digital asset journey in just 5 simple steps:

Step 1: Register an Account

Step 2: Complete Identity Verification

To comply with regulations, OKX will verify your identity. This helps protect your account and allows you to access OKX SG services. The process usually takes a few minutes to submit for review and up to 24 hours to complete. OKX allows you to verify using Singpass, passport or ID/FIN, and other methods. We strongly recommend using Singpass for a fast and seamless experience.

How do I verify my identity with Singpass?

Step 3: Knowledge Test

To comply with Singapore regulations, OKX must assess each user's understanding of the risks associated with Digital Payment Token services to ensure users are aware of such risks before using our services. After completing identity verification, you will be prompted to complete a knowledge test on digital asset-related risks. Please refer to our ++Knowledge Test FAQ++.

Step 4: Fund Your Account

OKX SG offers multiple ways to deposit SGD or USD into your account. From PayNow, local bank transfers (FAST, MEPS), to international wire transfers. We recommend using PayNow for instant, zero-fee SGD deposits. For large transactions over USD 200,000, please use the local bank transfer option.

Alternatively, you can also deposit digital assets into your account. Please note that digital asset transactions are subject to the "Travel Rule" and require additional information to unlock.

Should I use Simple Mode or Trading Mode?

Use Simple Mode if:
