What are "Non-tradable Assets"?

"Non-tradable assets" refer to digital assets that are not supported or tradable on OKX. If you wish to withdraw your non-tradable assets, please refer to: How do I withdraw crypto that OKX does not support?

Non-tradable assets can be divided into the following four categories:

  • Coins not supported by OKX
  • Coins sent via networks not supported by OKX
  • Coins that are about to be or have already been delisted from OKX
  • Certain airdropped coins

What is asset consolidation?

When a coin is delisted or no longer supported, OKX will consolidate these coins as non-tradable assets.

During the asset consolidation process, you may experience coins not being displayed or being unable to withdraw. This is normal—please rest assured that your assets will not be lost.

Once consolidation is complete, the coins will appear under [Assets] - [Funding Account] - [Non-tradable Assets], where you can view your balance. You can also withdraw the assets to another platform that supports the coin once the withdrawal channel is open.

Detailed explanation of the four types of non-tradable assets:

1. Coins not supported by OKX

OKX currently supports over 300 digital assets, but there are still some digital assets that are not supported.

If you are unsure whether OKX supports deposits for a particular coin, you can visit the OKX deposit page before depositing. Search for the coin in the "Select Coin" field—if it appears, it is supported and you can proceed with the deposit.

2. Coins sent via networks not supported by OKX

The same coin may have token versions issued on multiple networks; however, OKX may only support some of these networks. If you send digital assets to OKX via a network that is not supported, you will not be able to use or trade those assets on OKX. Currently, the platform does not support digital assets such as USDT on BSC. If you deposit USDT to the platform via BSC, it will become a non-tradable asset.

3. Coins that are about to be or have already been delisted from OKX

Coins about to be delisted: These are coins that are about to be delisted from trading on OKX but can still be withdrawn.

Delisted coins: These are coins that are no longer supported on the OKX platform. Users will not be able to trade these coins. However, the quantity of delisted coins will still be retained in your account, and you can withdraw them to your personal wallet or another platform that supports the coin after delisting.

Reasons for delisting: To create a healthy digital asset environment and optimize project liquidity, OKX continuously monitors listed coins, trading pairs, and contracts. Based on market performance, user feedback, and potential risks, the platform may delist certain coins, trading pairs, or contracts.

4. Certain airdropped coins

Some airdropped coins that are not open for trading on OKX cannot be traded on the platform.
