Rebate Issue FAQ

1. What should I do if I don't receive Affiliate Program commission or receive less than expected?

For commission-related queries, you may go to More > Affiliates> Commission activity page to check the information below:

  • Feature Highlights

    • Introducing the concept of eligible trading volume to differentiate between total trading volume and the trading volume that qualifies for commission.

    • A detailed trade history for every transaction, with the ability to search by trader UID and filter trades based on whether they generate commission.

2. How can I confirm the commission rate I should receive as an affiliate?

The commission that you receive from each invitee or sub-affiliate's invitees will be different depending on your distribution. You can review and distribute your commission rates to your invitees or sub-affiliates as necessary on the affiliate portal.

3. Why hasn’t my affiliate commission been distributed on time?

Normally, your commissions will be distribute within 1–2 hours after trade made. However, during extreme market conditions, the high volume of calculations may cause delays of several hours, which is considered normal.

4. How do I check my referral code and commission rate when I was invited by an affiliate?

If you were invited by an affiliate, you can check your affiliate-assigned commission rate and the referral code used at registration by going to your OKX App > Menu > Account settings > Profile > Referral rewards.

VIP users have two ways to check:

  • Option 1: Go to your OKX App > Tap the VIP icon > Account settings > Profile > Referral rewards to view your commission rate.

  • Option 2: Go to your OKX App > Tap the VIP icon > Scroll down and tap My rewards > Scroll down to the My benefits section to view your commission rate.

Note:

  • If there is no Referral rewards button on your profile page, it means your referrer is not an affiliate. Please try to recall who sent you the referral link or referral code.

  • The invitee’s rebate rate ranges from 0% to 20%.

5. How can invitees check commission records?

Users invited by an affiliate can view their commission records by following these steps:

Open your OKX app, select Assets > Select the billing icon in the upper right corner > Assets > Select the commission type and view the commission record.

If you need to view detailed commission breakdowns, please contact your affiliate to export and review the relevant data.

6. How do I receive commissions on my own trading fees?

To receive commissions on your own trading fees, you need to register through an affiliate's invitation link, and the affiliate must have set a commission rate for you.

You can check your assigned percentage and registration invitation code through the following path.

  • Open your OKX app > Menu

  • Select User Center

  • On the My Rewards page, you can view your commission rate assigned by the affiliate.

Note: if your inviter is an affiliate, you will be able to see your account's detailed commission rate and registration invitation code. if your User Center page doesn't have an Invitation rewards button, it means your inviter is not an affiliate.

Registration or User Recall FAQ

Note: before reporting or giving feedback on an issue, ensure that more than 3 hours have passed since your registration or recall, as the system data may not have been updated yet.

1. Why does the person I invited through OKX Affiliate Program show as 'Invalid'?

Generally, when your invitee is recalled by another channel, it'll appear as Invalid from your perspective. Alternatively, if certain settings determine that the rebate relationship between you and your invitee is invalid, the status will also show as Invalid. You can select on Invalid to learn more about the reason.

You can directly view all related signups and recalls within your affiliate portal, eliminating the need for separate verification.

3. What are the common reasons my invitees fail to establish a binding affiliate relationship with me?

The common reasons include:

  • They entered the wrong invitation code during registration, preventing the establishment of the invitation relationship.

  • They completed registration through a paid advertisement channel, which does not allow for the binding of the invitation relationship with you.

  • If they open the invitation link but directly download the app before completing registration, there is a possibility that the binding may not be established. Please make sure to complete registration before downloading the app to avoid this issue.

  • Your invitee attempts to be recalled by you, but does not meet the recall criteria, preventing the establishment of the invitation relationship.

4. Is it possible to find out if invitee meets the criteria for recall under OKX's Affiliate Program?

No, it's not possible.

5. If invitee's registration or recall is not successful, can they be an affiliate afterward?

For any reason, if your invitee's registration or recall fails, it's not possible to re-bind them to an affiliate.

6. Under what criteria can I recall my invitees as an affiliate?

As an affiliate, you can recall your invitees if they haven't made any deposits, trades, or logged in for over 180 days.

7. Can invitee delete their account and re-sign up to attribute it to a different affiliate?

No, they aren't permitted to change their channel by deleting and re-creating accounts for different affiliate attributes.

8. My invitee noticed that a default invitation code for the Affiliate Program is already filled in and can't be edited during registration. Can they be allowed to edit it?

No, it's not allowed. The default invitation codes come from paid channels, such as affiliates, referrals, paid advertisements, and many more. To ensure fair competition among all channels, invitation codes can't be edited on the registration page.

No, it's not possible.

Sub-affiliates

1. How many sub-affiliates can I set up?

An affiliate can create up to 200 sub-affiliate links.

2. Can I become a sub-affiliate?

No. An affiliate cannot become a sub-affiliate, and a sub-affiliate cannot become an affiliate.

3. How can I become a sub-affiliate?

Affiliates can invite sub-affiliates to share referral links and earn trading fee commissions together. Here's how it works:

  • Make sure the sub-affiliate already has a registered OKX account.

  • Contact your business manager to add the sub-affiliate.

  • Assign commission rates for the sub-affiliate and invited users. Sub-affiliates can receive between 0%–40%, and invited users between 0%–20%.

    • Note: Affiliates can adjust the sub-affiliate's commission rate at any time. The same commission rate applies to both spot and futures trading.

  • Both the affiliate and sub-affiliate earn commissions from the trading fees paid by invited users.

    • Note: If an invitee uses a rebate card, the net trading fees generated will be returned to the affiliate and sub-affiliate in the form of rebate cards, based on their respective commission rates. Rebate cards are credited on the same day and are valid for 30 days from the date of receipt. The exact expiry date can be found on the user's page.

  • Track your commissions and related data on the Affiliate Program page.

    • Note: Sub-affiliates can also view their own commission data on the Affiliate Program page.

  • Commissions are calculated as: net trading fees × commission rate.

    • Note: The countries and regions eligible to be invited as sub-affiliates are subject to what's shown on the page.

1. How can affiliate access data from the Affiliate Portal via API?
